Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife north) is a more popular resort with many more gay bars and discos but because of its location in the north of the island, we only offer accommodation to Puerto de la Cruz on a request basis. Even so, as all flights go into Tenerife South airport, transfers can be expensive (about one hundred pounds each way) if not hiring a car.
However, don't despare, in Playa de Las Americas (Tenerife south) we know the Playaflor Chill-Out Resort will certainly not disappoint. The Playaflor Resort is the only accommodation we feature in Tenerife.
Although not as a big as its neighbour island Gran Canaria for a gay scene, there are still a few Gay bars and night clubs in the resorts of Tenerife south!

The bungalows are bright and as mentioned, nicely decorated.
Each 'bungalow' is divided into three levels:
Kitchen and Living Room on the ground floor.
Bathroom and Bedroom on the second floor
Private Sun Terrace on the third floor.
Satellite TV. Safety Deposit Boxes, (some WiFi connected).

Located in the heart of Las Americas, just across from the promenade, the Playaflor is the first complex in this resort to go gay: more 'straight-friendly than 'gay-friendly', and the complex is only open to adults!
Accommodation is offered in 23 simple but stylishly decorated one bedroom 'duplex' apartments: the complex refer to these as 'bungalows.'

Playa de Las Americas is an up and coming resort for gay nightlife - there are currently several gay/gay friendly bars and discos (most of which are in the Salytien shopping center. Here you'll find:
Punto Zero open 10pm to 6am. Cellar Bar open 8pm to 2am Geminis open
10pm to 4am Chaplins open late till 8am (a late club getting busy around 3am). All clubs/bars mentioned here are great, we particularly like Punto Zero which is tastefully decorated and plays good music.
