A far- sighted French man bought the beautiful Ouarzazi, a 13th century palace and created an impressive riad - style hotel within the city walls. An imposing cool reception area leads you through to a tranquil inner courtyard with a central swimming pool, edged by lawns and terraces. The atmospheric restaurant and several lounges also open onto the courtyard, which at night time transforms into a fairytale setting with romantic lighting.

Similar to a riad, the stylish bedrooms vary in layout and views, and the new suites are particularly tastefully designed with with wicker sofas on private terraces. The cool and elegant piano bar is a stylish haunt during the evening with live music some evenings.
